These simple one-step tests have demonstrated proven efficiency in clinics, hospitals and laboratories, and their speed and accuracy make them ideal for emergency treatment rooms. Clearview HCG and Clearview EASY HCG accurately detect the pregnancy hormone human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG) in urine at levels as low as 25 mlU/mL, with a proven accuracy of >99%. In addition, Clearview hCG Combo offers fast, high-sensitivity detection of hCG in both urine and serum at levels as low as 25mIU/mL. The Clearview product portfolio also features Clearview EASY LH, a one-step immunoassay for the qualitative detection of a luteinising hormone (LH) surge in urine, which has been shown to precede ovulation by approximately 24-36 hours. Inverness Medical has also expanded the range to include the innovative Careplan VpH Test Glove. A test strip is located at the tip of the index finger to allow self-measurement of the pH of the vaginal environment, where increased pH indicates the presence of infections in the vaginal tract.
