Haemostasis testing
Haemostasis testing. Developed from the highly succesful and reliable multidisciplinary MAXMAT PL platform, the new MAXMAT PL COAG instrument is designed specifically for carrying out haemostasis analyses using chronometric, chromogenic and turbidimetric tests. While making use of the powerful software and high precision of the original platform, the new system is however totally specialised for haemostasis testing. With an increased throughput of up to 140 tests per hour for PT, the instrument can carry out patient by patient panels of PT, APTT, FIB and D-Dimer tests at a throughput of 50 tests per hour. The instrument is an 8-channel, random access optical system, using LEDs. Six channels are used for chronometric tests, one for chromogenic tests and one for turbidimetric tests. Using microtitre plates, and thus having very low reagent consumption, the new system is particularly cost-effective.
