Liquid-stable CO2 reagent
Liquid-stable CO2 reagent. A new liquid-stable carbon dioxide (CO2) reagent has been introduced for use on automated and semi-automated chemistry analysers. The new reagent system is based on an enzymatic method using PEPC and an NADH analogue. There is no interference from bilirubin (up to 20mg/dL), haemoglobin (up to 400mg/dL) or triglycerides (up to 1000mg/dL). On-board stability of the reagent is 30 days and shelf-life is 15 months at 2°-8°C. The reaction is read at 405nm; linear range is 2-40mmol/L. The reagent comes in a variety of kit sizes and configurations. Standards and calibrators are available for use with the new reagent. Instrument application instructions are provided for a wide variety of analysers. Liquid-stable CO2 reagent
