Moisture management. New moisture management technology to address special moisture needs of in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) devices to ensure device stability is available. IVDs that include reagents can lose their performance characteristics in the presence of moisture, leading to inaccuracy and imprecision in test results. The technology can control and/or modify the packaging atmosphere within the primary or secondary package, which is often subjected to varying temperature and humidity conditions during manufacture, transport, and storage.
