Auto-balancing centrifuge
Auto-balancing centrifuge. Designed to allow full implementation of laboratory automation systems in clinical labs and hospitals the new LABMASTER ABC-GF35R centrifuge incorporates Hanlab’s automatic weight imbalance compensation system. By using a high precision pre-installed weight detection sensor, the centrifuge measures accurately the sample weight of each bucket
and then automatically and precisely moves the rotor arm to compensate for any difference of weight. In addition to the fact that there is no need to weigh the samples to be centrifuged or arrange them symmetrically, the advantages of the new system are that small numbers of urgent samples (even one tube) can be handled directly and that the centrifugation process
itself is particularly smooth, with minimal noise or vibration. The new instrument is a refrigerated floor-standing centrifuge and is especially suitable for the preparation of serum or plasma prior to the carrying out of serological or clinical chemistry diagnostic tests.
