Using SuperConvection technology and infra red heating to make the instrument significantly faster than conventional thermal cyclers, the AmpXpress is a novel very rapid thermal cycler that can carry out a 40 cycle three-step PCR in 20 minutes. In-tube temperature measurement ensures that every run is calibrated for temperatures. With its volume range of 20 - 100 µL, the thermal cycler is ideal for diagnostic use.
