Following the company’s successful strategy to provide high quality diagnostic solutions for the routine clinical lab, Analyticon Biotechnologies is now expanding its product portfolio into the field of routine haematology diagnostics, with two new haematology analysers. Both new instruments, the Hemolyzer 3 and Hemolyzer 5, combine state-of-the-art measuring technologies and deliver reliable and accurate results while at the same time being easy-to-use, efficient and cost-effective. The Hemolyzer 3 provides 20-parameter complete blood count including a 3-part WBC differential at a throughput of 60 samples per hour. The high resolution colour LCD display allows easy monitoring of the results with large and clearly interpretable histograms. As for the Hemolyzer 5, it uses well established methods such as impedance and photometric measurements and an innovative optical measurement based on laser scattering to guarantee precise and accurate 24 parameter CBC profile including 5-part WBC differential results. The autoloader unit enables walk-away automation of closed tube sampling, including cap-recognition and cap piercing, with a capacity of 100 vials. The new haematology line ideally complements the recently launched Biolyzer line of clinical chemistry instruments suitable for the small-to-medium sized laboratory.
